” A flat 2D paper transforms into 3D geometrical shapes transcends a space unidentified by the mind.”

All designs above (except for the white herringbone) by origami artist Ilan Garibi. I thank him for giving me permissions for using his crease patterns and designs for Morning Dew’s Exhibition at the Substation in Singapore, May 1st 2021. I use elephant hide papers for the folds, it was a discovery and empowering journey for me to frame up 14 pieces of origami works in a short span of about 3 months. Totally zero experience in folding origami tessellations then.
It was a great learning experience curating this exhibition too. A very good headstart for my origami folding art.
